In 2022, the Innovation Authority was first established at Bnai Zion Medical Center.
The Authority operates under the hospital management and focuses on developing projects, strategic collaborations with startup and technology companies, empowering human resources through innovation education, using advanced technologies, and acceleration programs.
The rationale for establishing the Authority was based on Bnai Zion Medical Center being a “capsule” that reflects the demographic, health, and cultural mix of Israel.
Accordingly, the data and knowledge accumulated are among the highest quality in the country and have significant potential for research and development purposes.
Additionally, Bnai Zion has been a leader in recent years in quality treatment indices and is a top medical center in Israel, ranked first in patient experience and safety, according to the latest Ministry of Health survey for 2022.
